I have a loan Acer Aspire One netbook here running Linpus (based on Fedora Core). I should still have it by then.

I am happy for my father to pick this up and demonstrate at SFD. Unfortunately I will be in the UK at the time.

If businesses ask where it can be obtained I would like Datacom mentioned, otherwise they are able to buy from a chain store for around $600.

Apart from a poster(s)/banner for the library, I don't recollect
seeing any other mention of SFD activities for Hamilton.  I presume
you are talking of a manned display at the library and the opportunity
to talk with passing members of the public - in dulcet tones, of
course!  I'm happy to come along and talk with people.
