Having my in-laws from Whangamata, I know what it's like being a local in a holiday hotspot (especially 3-4 days surrounding New Years Eve), and it's something that Hamilton is not used to, yeah we have the Fieldays and the balloon fest, but this is big.  I don't think it has sunk in to the Hamilton locals as to how big it's going to be.

If there are people coming to Hamilton who want to meet up, now is the time to put your hand up, because I will have to book real soon.  It would definitely be a Thursday Night Curry for two reasons, one being tradition, and two being forget Friday and Saturday night

I will also need to have an idea where you're staying as that will impact the choice of Venue - parking will be a nightmare, roads will be closed.  I won't even be able to park my car at work because the road to the parking entrance will be closed.

But in saying all of that, it would be an awesome event.

I don't know if there's a TNC that week either.. someone needs to
