Otherwise, I moved most of the machines that ever ran Sarge to Dapper, and can thoroughly recommend it. How easy is it to port a live machine from Debian to Ubuntu?
Officially, I don't believe it's supported; unofficially, I've found it no harder than moving to a new version of Debian, assuming you are moving through a version that's reasonably close to the Debian release you started at. Craig
