That will depend on your distribution and the account your using. Assuming Ubuntu, which is what I'm more familiar with, at the command prompt, type:- sudo pppconfig You should then be prompted for your password if running from the account you used to set up the system. Alternatively:- sudo su - Which will then enable you to enter commands as root. If you know the root password, the easiest course is to sign on as root. Cheers Michael
