Just to clarify; in Hardy (and presumably Intrepid) it's almost
exactly the same process as in windows. Find the folder you want to
share, right-click on it and select 'sharing options'. You do not even
need to install or configure samba in advance, if you don't already
have it you'll be prompted for your password and samba will be
installed and configured "automagically" for you.
