I have tried 4 different NICs and have had no success. I tried on a production server I have here and I get it working fine, so I don't think it is a configuration problem, it is probably a hardware thing. I have tried various BIOS setting as researched from the internet with no luck as well. The machine does work under windows.

So with different NICs in the one machine you have no success? That's really odd. There is a workshop this Saturday, if you can make it to that - there should be enough support there to be able to try a Live CD or two, or possibly another network card. Craig
