I'm running maverick at work and it seems to run fine except for a bug in chrome flash. It totally hangs the system, despite not being upgraded or touched. I can only assume its an incompatability of some sort, firefox works fine with the normal flash plugins (chrome brings it own plugins). My home machine has the mbr being over written problem, apparently changing the grub version fixes this (fresh install uses grub2 rather than 'grub' which works fine?), however I dont boot windows so I have never actually implemented that to test it. I would like to upgrade, as it finally fixes the inability of my laptop to mute the internal speakers when headphones are plugged in (that's really the major reason why I want to upgrade; the other one is that Karmic's running rather slowly after a year).
