
Curiosity got the better of me so I downloaded the 64-bit iso and burnt a DVD. I'll bring along my laptop and the DVD to tonight's wlug meeting if anyone would like to play with Fedora 20-1 Scientific KDE live. I'll also bring the .iso file ...if you have 3.5GB's of space on a USB stick. cheers, Ian.

From a researcher's point of view, it's a good range of pre-installed tools (see packages list below).
