Just a followup <https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2019/12/verizon-reportedly-blocks-archivists-from-yahoo-groups-days-before-deletion/>: a bunch of volunteer archivists trying to preserve the content before its deletion have found their accounts have been banned, supposedly for violating the terms of service.
