Hi Wlug,
I was at the fixiit meeting today and asked Bruce how to install my PDF reader from Adobe. I think he said I should be able to read PDF files with Xsane. However I dont' have a scanner and the application won;t run.
What next?
If you use Gnome (default with Ubuntu), it comes with evince with can be used to view PDF files. Simply ciicking on a PDF file in nautilus will open the file. If for some reason you really want to use Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can follow these instructions: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AcrobatHowTo Again, I'm assuming you are using Ubuntu.
