I have two wifi PCMCIA card's I am willing to trade below: 1 * Netgear HA501 - 802.11a 1 * Belkin F5D6020 ver2 - 802.11b Neither of these work under my current OS (FreeBSD) and I am wanting to trade these two for a single 802.11b card that will work under FreeBSD (prism2 /prism2.5 chipset) Cheers, Drew

LDAP browsers

I just noticed Luma (http://luma.sourceforge.net/) linked off freshmeat. It's already up to v 1.20, so i'm not sure how I missed it this long. It's an LDAP browser / editor. Has anyone had experience using Luma? I've used GQ up till now, as I didn't know of any other decent generic LDAP browsers (ones like DirectoryAdministrator were very much targetted at a specific use and schema set). There's no ebuild for gentoo yet, so i'll have to compile from scratch. I'll have a look at it tonight. Daniel

nfsroot

Hi, I have managed to get my iMac to netboot the Linux kernel. The kernel seems to load fine, but stops with a kernel panic as it can't mount the root filesystem. I'm using the default 2.4 kernel from Debian 3.0. As per the instructions for yaboot (the Open Firmware boot loader that LinuxPPC uses), i set "root=/dev/nfs". Is this what i'm supposed to do to get / mounted via NFS? Is this a sign the kernel doesn't have nfsroot support? I found a web page that suggested i add "fsroot=$SERVER:/export/root", but that didn't help. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Jon
