Hi, I'm doing a bit of an impromptu talk tomorrow night on PGP/GPG, what it is, why you'd want to use it, etc. At the end we'll organise an impromptu keysigning party. Given the late notice and the fact that there is not likely to be a huge number of people with keys I'm not going to organise anything using the fancy methods. So if you want to get your key signed you need to bring - A trusted copy of your key fingerprint (preferably multiple copies that are printed, so you can give them away) - At least one form of government issued photo id (two are preferred). Hi all As a suggestion, suggest asking Nandor Tanczos visit a few sites like http://www.mplayerhq.hu/homepage/index.html were the mplayer project foresees having to shut down if the EU adopts the software patent laws. By the way there is a petition to the EU at this page, mainly intended for within the EU but they do appreciate support from elsewhere in the world too. Hey Guys, Do any telephone techs on this list have a copy of the old Panasonic KX-T1232(10B) phone system installation manual that I could either borrow or at least get the cable pin-outs ? This is needed for shifting a phone system from one building to the another. Please reply to me directly (off list). On Tuesday 24 May, IBM are in town launching their new OpenPower server range in NZ. >From the flyer: IBM OpenPower is the alternative to Intel for Linux users. IBM OpenPower is based on Power Processor technology derived from IBM's Enterprise Systems, and been optimized for Linux. In addition to that it has been priced to compete against the Intel platform. Would like to transition from Fedora core 3 to debian Has someone got the latest debian release on cd or preferably dvd that they could send me .. for costs of course (I think it is called sarge) Also any advice on installation .. does it support lvm .. can you install over an old fedora installation without reformating the disk?
