A reminder; the WLUG Fixit Meeting is tomorrow. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday September 6th, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm We will be holding our SaturdayWorkshop at Te Whanau Pūtahi (http://zoomin.co.nz/nz/hamilton/enderley/-te+whanau+ptahi/?place/full_map) the community church at the end of Oxford Street. We'll have the usual tables, power, various ISO's, Internet, coffee and light lunch, etc.

Trash folder location...

I have something stuck in my Trash folder that I can't delete because root owns it. Where is the trash directory stored in Ubuntu 8.04? It was easy when it was just ~/.Trash, but I've no idea where it is now -- I can't get into trash:/// through the command line. Makes me wish there was a 'delete as root/administrator' option in the right-click context menu. Sandy

Catalyst also architected, designed and developed, host and maintain NZ Registry Service's core system, the Shared Registry System (SRS) which maintains the .nz domain space (i.e. handles all .nz internet addresses).
