Hi, Glyn and I will be taking a car from Hamilton East to Monday's meeting. So if anyone would like a lift there and/or back, just drop one of us an email. Note that given the terrain that our ramblings span, it is unlikely that we will be taking the shortest path. Indeed, I cannot even guarantee that the route will be acylic -or even directed for that matter- ;) Sid.

Open Office and VGA Monitors

I have Red Hat 8 on a machine, which has an old VGA monitor. Is it possible to configure Open Office to work with such an old monitor? At present the text and icons of Open Office take up the majority of the screen, so it is effectively unusable. The other applications do not suffer from the same severe problem. Any help or pointers would be appreciated. Thanks in anticipation, Roger

Committee meeting

As per the decision at the last WLUG society committee meeting, subsequent committee meetings will be not be held alongside WLUG presentation meetings, but instead will be held the Thursday prior. I remind everyone there is a WLUG-Committee list that society members are welcome to join but cannot post to.
