Hi all,
NZCS is running an event at the University next week entitled "High
Performance Computing: Inside Waikato University's Symphony Cluster". It's
going to be presented by Donald Neal, from the high-performance computing
arm of The University of Waikato - he's the main man who keeps their
Symphony cluster running.
This is going to be a pretty cool presentation, and I thought it would fit
with this group's interests well. It's going to be a bit more technical
than many of our other events, and at the end we're hoping to be able to
actually have a quick tour of the server room. A light lunch is also
